That is normal. This is actually a good way to see if the system is in the "ready" state if you disconnect your battery to clear a code. If you turn the key to "On", the CEL will blink several times. If the light goes out, or stays solid, the system is "Ready". If you just had a wheel bearing replaced then the wheel speed sensor on that wheel is a primary culprit. Something could have happened on the tow trip, or during the repair or test drive.
